Seedlings
Our Indoor Garden is Growing Fast!

Peppers!
Basil!
Tomato seedlings are coming up!
Our junior garden club set up a second Earth Box today for our newly sprouted tomato plants.
Mulching the garden
Today the Junior Gardening Club diverted two large bags of leaves from the landfill. The leaves were used to mulch the beds and planters. This mulch will help shelter our tulip and garlic bulbs from extreme temperatures. Over time, the leaves will break down and add precious organic material to the soil. Win, win, win!
We also checked in on the lettuce, radishes, spinach and arugula in our cold frame.
